NOVA’s Achieving the Dream Team is pleased to announce Student Success Celebrations at four additional campuses:
At Alexandria
On Tuesday October 29 the Alexandria campus will be having a football-themed full day of events for “Touchdown” to Success. Activities will include “who inspired me to be successful?” videos, a poster contest, a reception, and a panel discussion with students sharing their success stories. At Manassas
The Manassas campus will be running a video competition through October 24 where students can make videos sharing an academic or personal success story as a NOVA student. There will be a Wall of Success for students to post their success stories on the bulletin board on the first floor of Howsman Hall from October 22- October 25. Finally there will be a Student Success Rally on Thursday, October 29 from 2:00-4:00 pm on the patio outside Howsman Hall with student speakers, music, prizes, and food! At Loudoun
The Loudoun campus will be hosting events on Thursday October 31 from 12:00-2:00 pm in the Learning Commons Lounge. In line with Halloween, their theme is “Avoid a Nightmare” and will focus on how things like taking SDV and seeing an advisor can prevent avoid a nightmare. Some games with their improv theater group and student speakers are on the agenda. If you are at Loudoun you should also look for some great posters! At the Medical Education Campus:
On November 6 from 11:00 am- 2:00 pm in the MEC Forum there will be a program entitled “Great Health Care Begins with Student Success.” There will be refreshments and a panel of speakers including students sharing their success stories.
